THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR ORGANIZATION

 

1981

Foundation of the Grasdorf Raeder GmbH by Bernd Pyritz, graduate engineer, and  Sven von Holt. The production of special-purpose wheels was started.

1983

Expansion of the business activities by being approved as a tyre wholesaler and starting the sale of complete assemblies  (tyres/wheels).

1987

Move from the original Grasdorf location to the present headquarter in Sottrum and purchase of the earth-moving equipment production plant from Michelin in France.

1988

Start of highest quality wheel production for earth-moving and special-purpose machinery.

1991

Expansion of the production by founding the manufacturing company of Grasdorf Raeder Groitzsch GmbH at the present location in Groitzsch near Dresden.

1997

Acquisition of the tyre wholesaler Meyer & Bolte in Weyhe near Bremen.

2003

Grasdorf Räder GmbH and Agrartechnik Wennekamp combine their skills and amalgamate to trade under the name of Grasdorf Wennekamp GmbH.

2006

Dziallas-Reifen in Stuhr near Bremen are taken over by Grasdorf Wennekamp and thus their skills with regard to the tyre trade are extended.

2013

The restructuring of the company organisation and the renaming to the present Grasdorf GmbH will allow for the rapid growth of the company.
